We will be building housing for women who have been rescued from the sex slave industry.We will also be putting on a summer camp in the more rural areas.

Expedition:South Pacific

From San Francisco International Airport your journey begins. We travel together on one really long flight to the amazing city of Hong Kong, then on to Cebu, Philippines! Your Studentreach International staff will guide you down all the way to Cebu. You will be taking a taxi to the hotel and greeted by the President of the Kiwanis club that we are helping to build and work with in Cebu.

Remote beaches millions of people and the beautiful waters greet you--here you will spend the next week helping the poorest of the poor distributing food to school children, cleaning up communities and changing the lives of people in human trafficking forever.

In the down times, scuba diving (third best place in the world for tropical fish) and a visit with the wildlife will blow your mind. The shopping and its beaches are ready for recreation and relaxation. Surfing, Scuba diving, fishing, water sports, and beach activities will stretch you physically while the daily lessons in leadership will stretch you mentally. You will leave forever changed.

Students will get and equal mix of hard work, enrichment and fun during this Studentreach expedition. Cebu will involve building part of a home for needy girls coming out of human trafficking who are among the poorest of the poor, community clean-up and working with a feeding program at the community center as well as building a home for these girls. Throughout the week we will also have leadership lessons and team building. During our free time, activities will include going, scuba diving, beach time, hiking and campground fun. This will be Extreme Home Makeover meets leadership experience meets summer camp.
