After almost two days of travel your African adventure will begin. You will meet Studentreach staff at the airport and together you will hop on a plane and begin you 14 days of service in Africa. After a long plane right we will land in the beautiful Eastern African country of Rwanda.
Rwanda is a beautiful country full of hills and savannah. It is a high elevation country so the climate is temperate and comfortable. It is rich in wildlife and flora and fauna and is filled with natural beauty. The country is home for rare animals, like the silverback gorilla.
You will spend the next 14 days in this country helping the poorest of the poor. You will be building a community center, working with local students in sports camp and computer training. In the rural villages you will be bringing clean water to people who have never had that luxury.
In our free time we will have the opportunity to shop in markets for souvenirs, enjoy the beautiful African landscape, and encounter the wildlife up close on Safari. You will be stretched both mentally and physically. You will leave forever changed

Students will get an equal mix of hard work, enrichment and fun during this StudentReach expedition. East Africa will involve building a community center, holding sports camps and computer training, also bringing clean water to rural villages. Through out the week we will also have leadership lessons and team building. During our free time, we will enjoy the Africain wildlife and outdoors. In this setting, students will be able to challenge their perceptions and perceive their potential while changing the lives of the needy. This will be Extreme Home Makeover meets leadership experience meets summer camp.

We will be staying in a local college dorm. We will also be camping in a rural village (you will need to bring sleeping bag and pillow)

We will be involved in several areas of service including; building projects, food distribution, clean water projects, base construction, sports camp, computer training.

We will have some free time and fun activities including; African landscape, hiking, spending time at a lake, Safari, African Wildlife Reserve.

We will spending 14 days on the trip including travel.
